Event Description:
The New Lenox Fire Foundation Announces "Controlled Burn" Cook-Off
The third annual "Controlled Burn" Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, July 26 in conjunction with "Proud American Days" at a new location just east of the Walmart store on Rt 30.
Registration is open now through July 1. Applications, rules & regulations can be picked up from Foundation Director Sandra DeLair. Call 815.462.0023 during normal business hours for information.
Entries will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis. The entry fee is $75. All teams will receive a 13lb roast furnished by the Foundation at the day of cooking. Cooking begins at 7:30 a.m. on July 26 and judging will take place at 10:30 a.m.
