May Donation Days Are Coming!
The Family Services Foundation of New Lenox Township in support of the New Lenox Township Food Pantry is asking local businesses to please take part in our Donations Days fundraiser during the month of May.
It’s very simple. Just place one of our donation canisters (6” x 3”) in a spot where your customers and clients can easily deposit their cash donations. A food pantry volunteer will stop by your business at the end of May to retrieve the filled canister. To get a canister for your business, please call the food pantry at 815-717-6221
Much of the food distributed to needy families by the food pantry is donated. However, the pantry still needs to purchase key food items that are typically not donated, such as milk, butter and eggs. The money we raise during May Donation Days will help make these purchases possible.
New Lenox residents and business owners have always been so generous to the food pantry. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support.
