Our annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 4 in the Village Commons, featuring live music and a fireworks display that can't be missed!
Entertainment Don't miss rock cover band Epic as they take the stage from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Following Epic will be the Joliet American Legion Band from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. with your patriotic favorites. The fireworks display will go off at dusk.
Kid Zone New to the Village's Independence Day Celebration this year will be a Kid Zone, featuring activities and giveaways for children. More details to come.
Parking Limited parking is available behind the New Lenox Public Library and in areas surrounding the Village Commons. Additional free parking is available at the Route 30 Metra station at 300 Church Road in New Lenox. A free shuttle will be provided from the Metra station to the Village Commons. Shuttles will begin running at 5:30 p.m.
Handicapped parking will be available at the New Lenox Police Department in the lot to the southeast of the building.
Admission Admission to this event is free. Guests of all ages are welcome.
Carry-in Policy Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs as all available seating is lawn seating. Coolers are permitted.
Additional Policies Concessions will be available for sale via the concession stand courtesy of the New Lenox Community Park District. No pets are permitted.
