Event Description:
Participants will learn how to care for cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, how to control bleeding, how to minimize the effects of shock, how to treat injuries to bones, muscles and joints: and caring for sudden illness including poison and heat and cold emergencies. This class is required for staff of day care homes and centers. Those who need CPR certification should also take HeartSaver CPR. American Heart Association certification is provided upon completion.
