Dr. Maria Francis, rheumatologist, will discuss the difference between rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis as well as the treatments available on Wednesday, June 2 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. The free Aches & Pains: Arthritis Pain event is part of a lecture series that also addresses, breast, low back, and foot pain. Those who attend will receive a Gift Bag valued at $125 that includes a gift certificate for a complimentary knee, wrist or elbow pain screening performed by a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician from The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Silver Cross, and other items to help individuals stay active.
