Event Description:
We are pleased to announce the second annual A Taste of Victory Job Fair, presented by Senator Michael E. Hastings, and host, Victory Apostolic Church of Matteson. A Taste of Victory is a 22-year-old Victory Apostolic tradition, bringing health screenings and other services to the community in a fun, family-friendly environment at Colin Powell Middle School. In 2019, Senator Hastings launched a successful job fair in conjunction with A Taste of Victory, and we look forward to continuing that tradition on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM at Victory Apostolic Church.
For the 2021 job fair, we are approaching partners who can help accomplish our mission to connect companies that offer good paying jobs with benefits and opportunities for career growth to qualified job seekers, and we are particularly interested in recruiting partners who are ready to hire. We are also looking to assist those who have been transitioning their career paths, whether it’s in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, related changes in the labor market, or are simply seeking to transfer their skills to another career path.
National Able Network and HIRE360 Chicago will be on-site to deliver high-impact training sessions, and we are in search of employers who are interested in developing their staff!
